(TV SERIES) Sex Education Season 1 - One of the of Most Interesting Teen Drama Comedy I have Ever Seen

While I was looking for something refreshing in a TV series, I stumbled across this one which was shown on Netflix and categorized as comedy. I read a bit about it and felt it seemed like an interesting series that I should be able to enjoy, plus it had two quite well known stars in it. So I will just get to it now.

Brief Story Line

Otis (Asa Butterfield - Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, The Space Between Us etc) was a seemingly invisible teenager whose mother was a famous sex therapist named Jean (Gillian Anderson - The X Files TV series, The Spy Who Dumped Me etc) and always made him uncomfortable. He sometimes felt ashamed of her profession and also felt a bit intimidated due to his lack of practical experience in terms of sex. But it did make him very knowledgeable for his age. His best friend was a gay named Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) who despite being bullied all the time, especially by the school bully Adam (Connor Swindells - The Vanishing etc) was still a positive and cheerful person.

Detective Conan: The Fist of the Blue Sapphire - One of the Most Fun Movie in the Series

I first saw the poster to this movie while I was in Singapore few months ago as they were placed in various strategic areas. I noticed it was scheduled to be playing in July. Then I saw in the "coming soon" section in Indonesia's cinemas websites and my wife and I who are fans of Detective Conan, could not wait to see the movie. But when it finally premiered on 24 July, we were away and could only see this film yesterday. Anyway let us get on with the movie.

(2019) Child's Play - A Rather Disappointing Remake of the Infamous Scary Evil Chucky Franchise

This is the second movie that my wife and I were still playing catch up. It was quite fortunate for us as the movie still played in the theater nearest to our home so it was not a lot of hassle. Despite being a horror movie, my wife was still intrigued to see this one since she had seen the original movie (and several of its franchise). Well to cut the story short, let us get into the details now.

Brief Story Line

Andy (Gabriel Bateman - Lights Out, Benji etc) was the son of a single mother named Karen (Aubrey Plaza - Legion TV series, Ingrid Goes West etc) who worked at a retail store. (2019) The Lion King - A Beautifully Done Live Version Remake of a 1994 Disney Animated Classic

At last I got the chance to see this highly anticipated movie. When it premiered in Indonesia last week, my wife and I went for a holiday trip till Sunday. And just when I thought I could see it on Monday, I was assigned for business trip which lasted till Wednesday. So we could only see this last night. We decided to see it in a Dobly Atmos theater to enjoy the sounds better.

As I believe that most people have either seen this movie or the original animated version, I would not go into details of the story and just straight to my personal views.

This movie was just as I expected from the glimpses of scenes I saw in the trailer. The visual effects were stunning and the cinematography was absolutely gorgeous. The jungle's scenery and the real life-like various animals truly made us feel like we were in the actual forest in Africa. During the whole movie, my wife and I could not help but feel in awe of how great jobs the special effects team had done in order to bring this movie to life.

(TV SERIES) Lost in Space Season 1 - An Amazing Sci-fi Adventure Series from Netflix

I remember reading somewhere about this series with a familiar title. It was actually a remake of the then quite famous series back in the 60s and was made into a movie in 1998 starring Matt LeBlanc. As I am a fan of science fiction series, I was not going to miss out on this, especially since it was a Netflix original series which usually translated to good show. OK, well let us get on with more details now.

Brief Story Line
