Spider-man: No Way Home - A Remarkable Feat that Would Satisfy Fans of Spider-man

As one of the most anticipated movie of 2021, my wife and I were feeling excited to see this one. So when it was announced that advance ticket sales would be available few days earlier, we purchased the tickets as early as we could. Both of us decided to see the film on Saturday instead of the first day like we used to. Without further ado, let us get on with the movie.

Brief Story Line

Immediately after the events of Spider-man: Far From Home, the life of Peter Parker (Tom Holland - Chaos Walking, Spies in Disguise etc) with his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya - Dune, Space Jam: A New Legacy etc) were turned upside down. This also affected their best friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), Peter's aunt May (Marisa Tomei - The Lincoln Lawyer, Wild Hogs etc) as well as Happy (Jon Favreau - Solo: A Star Wars Story etc).

Feeling guilty with what happened to his closest friends and family, Peter turned to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch - Sherlock TV series, The Current War etc) for help. Against his better judgment, he still tried to help Peter with a spell. Unfortunately something happened which brought enemies from different universe to enter into Peter's world such as Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina - Message from the King, Frozen 2 etc), Elektro (Jamie Foxx - SoulBaby Driver etc) and Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe - AquamanThe Great Wall etc).

As pressures running high, Peter must do whatever he could to return these dangerous villains back to their world. So how would the story conclude? Find them all in this exciting latest adventure of Spider-man.

End of Brief Story Line

Wow that was truly amazing! This movie was really fantastic. It started very brightly and immediately get to the good stuff. And when the bad guys started to appear, my wife and I felt really excited at the prospects of seeing Peter Parker facing off the villains that he never fought before. And the fights were absolutely wonderful. Each one was unique and brilliantly done with some great visual effects which despite heavy on CGI but looked so good that they did not even looked too computerized.

For more than 2 hours, we were entertained by the nonstop thrill where there was no dull moment. Each scene was well executed that kept us glued to the screen at all time, afraid of missing anything important. My wife did not even glance at all to her mobile phone, as well as other audience who filled the allowed 70% capacity of the theater. Btw, we saw this one at our favorite theater with Dolby Atmos sound system which was finally put in effect, unlike in the past few weeks where no other movies were released with it. And it was very satisfying since the sound effects was just one of the cool attributes of the film.

As the movie progressed and our emotions were toyed with, there was a scene in the middle that we were ecstatic about. It was sooo awesome that we wanted to scream for joy, sadly though the people in the theater were too cool and they just exclaimed a bit. That scene was something that we as Spider-man fans half expected but did not dare to dream before. So we were very thankful that Marvel Studios and Sony (Columbia Pictures) manage to pull it off and provided us with this part. Ever since that moment, we were completely overjoyed with the story which brought us to the ultimate extraordinary climax fight scene. Although there was a scene prior to the fight that I did not really like as it was a bit too cheesy, but it was very brief and I chose to disregard and focused on the best part.

What amazed me in this movie was the ability of the writers (Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers) and the director Jon Watts to make something so wonderful and intelligent that started with Spider-man: Homecoming. Combined with some emotional moments (that affected my wife) and the strong nostalgic feeling of seeing those villains from previous Spider-man movies which we really enjoyed before, making this truly a remarkable feat. The musical score was perfectly timed as well in every crucial moments like the time when we need uplifting or during the intense moments and those really emotional scenes (one of them was what made me feel Tom Holland's Peter Parker would be a better superhero).

There was nothing to say on all the cast except they have done their jobs in the best possible way. The best part that I loved was the surprise appearance of many people whom I have seen before. One of those was a character that I never thought would be brought in, which made me could not wait for what would be in store in future Marvel Cinematic Universe. And by the looks of the ending of this film, it would be crazy if the studios did not want to work together and make at least another Spider-man movie. Oh, during the closing credits there was a fun mid end credit scene and one post end credit scene which I thought would have significance in MCU.

Overall this was an incredible experience for me and my wife. We loved this movie a lot and we were fortunate that we could avoid getting major spoilers from other people. My wife even had to skip the timeline of some of her social media friends and mute few of them who love to ruin our movie experience. Anyway this is a movie worth enjoyed in theater with big screen and good sound system. And I personally consider this to be the perfect experience. From what I understand, it is the movie that managed to attract so many people back to the cinemas as I had witnessed myself from the crowd who filled up the theater (sadly though the physical distancing was a bit disregarded, so we really have to take good care of ourselves). Anyway, if you have the chance and feel comfortable enough, you certainly do not want to miss out on the experience.
