Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga - Simply for Fun!

This movie only got to my attention when I read about it in the internet with the lead cast a man quite famous for his comedic movies, Will Ferrell. Without further ado, let us find out if the movie was indeed entertaining.

Brief Story Line

Lars Erickssong (Will Ferrell - Daddy's Home 2, Mega Mind etc) was a middle aged man who still live with his father Erick (Pierce Brosnan - Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Die Another Day etc) while dreaming of winning the Eurovision Song Contest. With his childhood best friend Sigrit Ericksdóttir (Rachel McAdams - Game Night, Mean Girls etc) who had always had a crush on him, Lars formed a duo band called Fire Saga and sometimes play music gig in their home town of Húsavík, Iceland.

(TV SERIES) Locke & Key Season 1 - Magical Enough to Enjoy with Mystery & Secrets to Satisfy Fans of Such Genre

I do not know much about this Netflix original series but when I read the synopsis, I thought why not give it a try. Frankly I was a bit doubtful as it seemed to be like supernatural horror type, but once I got into it, it was unlike what I expected. Anyway, let's start with the show now.

Brief Story Line

After the death of her husband Rendell Locke, Nina (Darby Stanchfield - Scandal TV series etc) and her children, the teenagers Tyler (Connor Jessup - Falling Skies TV series etc) & Kinsey (Emilia Jones - Brimstone etc) plus the youngest Bode (Jackson Robert Scott) moved to Rendell's old family home called Keyhouse in small town Matheson.

All Locke family members had to deal with the loss of Rendell in their own ways and things were not easy with the news of what happened to them traveled fast in Matheson. Kinsey who at first reserved to herself, finally made friends with Scot (Petrice Jones) and later with another student Gabe (Griffin Gluck - American Vandal TV series etc). Meanwhile Bode who loved to explore the big house, found that it had a lot of secrets, in particular mysterious keys that have magical effects. However, it would later revealed that the keys which seemed to be fun at first would change the Locke family's life and also related with old family secrets. Things also got complicated with the appearance of mysterious young woman referred by Bode as the well lady (Laysla De Oliveira) who had a major interest on these keys.

(TV SERIES) Nancy Drew Season 1 - A Unique Re-Imagining of the Popular Amateur Sleuth

While watching those Arrowverse series, there was promotion of this new series where the title was the name of a quite famous character from various novels. I was definitely intrigued and wanted to give it a try. So as soon as I completed those superheroes series I began watching this during the weekend. To my surprise, I was able to finish it in only 2 days time despite having 18 episodes for the first season. Well let's get down to the series now.

Brief Story Line

Set in the small town of Horseshoe Bay, Nancy Drew (Kennedy McMann) chose to work as a waiter in a restaurant called the Claw after graduating from high school with her supervisor/former school friend George Fan (Leah Lewis - The Half of It etc) and another waitress Bess Marvin (Maddison Jaizani - Versailles TV series etc) plus a rather slacker dishwasher called Ace (Alex Saxon - Finding Carter TV series etc). Nancy was having a relationship with a mechanic named Ned Nickerson (Tunji Kasim) even though it was not really approved by her father Carson Drew (Scott Wolf - Party of Five TV series etc).

(TV SERIES) Batwoman Season 1 - Mildly Entertaining Superhero Series

As a fan of Arrowverse, this series was definitely something that I looked forward to, especially since the hero was part of the annual crossover events from last year. Anyway I just got the chance to watch the whole season, and wanted to write on this series. 

Brief Story Line

After spending years in training, Katherine "Kate" Kane (Ruby Rose - The Meg, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter etc) reluctantly returned to her home town Gotham city where she met again with her father Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott - Ever After, Mission: Impossible 2 etc), step sister Mary (Nicole Kang - You TV series etc) and step mother Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis).

Gotham had been left by their hero Batman for 3 years and in addition to GCPD, the city was now protected by a group of private security called the Crows led by Jacob. One of Crows' high level agent was Sophie (Meagan Tandy - Jane by Design TV series etc) who had a past romantic relationship with Kate.
